For an initial appointment and referral, contact our Clinical Coordinator, Dave Torneo. Dave Torneo, M.A.Clinical Coordinator (812) 349-2796 Dave was educated at the University of California at Santa Barbara where he received a BA in Religious Studies in 1980, and at Pacifica Graduate Institute, earning a MA in Counseling Psychology in 1995. Dave has spent over 20 years in the field of human services. After spending close to ten years working with chronic mentally ill men and women, Dave began working with children, adolescents, and their families. He was the primary child and adolescent therapist at the Bedford branch of the Center for Behavioral Health for two years before becoming the Assistant Director of the Youth Services Bureau. Dave became the Clinical Coordinator here at YSB in May of 2001.
Amy Drever, M.S.W., Counselor (812) 349-2988 Amy was educated at Indiana University Bloomington where she received a BA in Gender Studies, African-American Studies, and History, and at Washington University in St. Louis, earning her MSW. Amy has experience working with at-risk youth and their families in the field of domestic violence in the Bloomington and St. Louis community. In addition, Amy has advocacy and program evaluation experience. Amy has been with the YSB since August of 2008.
Sharon Lucas B.A., B.S., Safe Place Coordinator /Case Manager (812) 349-5014 Sharon received her Bachelor of Education degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University in 1994. She has experience working with at-risk children, young adults and their families in the educational and mental health fields. She currently oversees the Monroe County Safe Place Program and provides Case Management services to youth using our program.
